Claypot Chicken Rice @ Damansara Utama

I kinda used this as a header on this blog, because it means alot to me. The significance of just this claypot accompanied by one dear friend of mine is just priceless. And it brings back memories. You know, as time age and we age along together, things change. And not just things, but people and circumstances. We used to hang out quite very often, and spend some quality time with one another, until we're hit with responsibilities.

A task that we must complete, in order to advance in life. Often times the task gets bigger and heavier, and that leads to our time spent with each other shorter. But do I foresee it? That such thing would happen? I did. And that's why there are some things I purposely do, despite my busy schedule and often times out of sync with proper order. Time management at it's worst, if you call it. But I would just drop everything i thought i had to do, for things i just want to do. And this, i find the most beneficial and most productive.

After service, I din't have anything to do. But of course i had something, but decided to drop it and do something crazy. I then thought of ta kei(playing computer games) with my long time no see buddy. Now he's one buddy that I respect alot. Solved some of my hard to untangle equation of life. Yes, life. Although the level at which he gave advice are sometimes not easily understandable, but the fact that he cared to solve that riddle somehow made my day. That post, i shall reserve it for another topic by itself. But there is no chores that could replace times spent with him, and an all day gaming session is good enough replacement.

Now i don't really know how to get there, although i am very eager to fulfill it. I then took out the GPS i had which was a if i remember correctly, was a first gen touch screen type phone that resembles a smartphone. Nokia 5800, and i can load in a custom gps software and this little puppy can accurately direct me to the destination. It amazes me as well as my friend that we made it half blindly. All i know is the place is nearby a college campus. When we arrived at DU, or was the place in DJ, it confuses me till this day, but both places had the same cybercafe branch. One of it is the HQ, which i deemed better because they had most of the games compared to alot of other cc.

When we arrived at the place, the first thing of course is to find a place to eat. We didn't know what's famous there, and neither the choices are many. So we just ordered this nga pou kai fan(claypot chicken rice) and shared. Now i am not a big eater, so this is fine with me, my friend took over most of the portion. It's a win win situation. Ha Ha. Although it was just a simple food, it's a good time spent.

After food, we then headed to the cc few doors away, and getting ready for battle. Yep, we came all the way here, just because they had COH, which many cc's don't have this game. And even if they did, they don't quite have the lan part setup properly. We booked 2 seats, and sat down, launched the game, and was greeted with error. OK. This is not what we were expecting. They had so much error, that we didn't know what to do. The staff also got confused as to why it wasn't working. We then headed to the next door cc, which we thought it was actually the correct one and the one we were at was the wrong one. Hah. Now that i think about it, i also get mixed up which is the one we wanted to play at.

The one next door, was perfect. We connected the lan game and got in the game. Man that was so much fun! We only played at camp before and that wasn't really satisfying. Of course, such a short time isn't gonna make us happy. Haha. We then set up the strategy, which we thought were brilliant, but it was just mediocre and teamed up to fight against the AI. Guess what happened? While in the middle of the game, their server crashed. And we were like, wth ! Come on, server crash while we were on a winning championing mood?! Surprisingly the crowd wasn't very mad at all, and no one smashed the keyboard, except for us, which we were furious. The rest of the crowd were playing dota, and for the love of humanity, i never liked the game and never knew what's the craze about. The reason why you don't get mad at the disconnection of dota is because the army or power you build up doesn't mean anything. And they have probably fought so much of war in a short timespan that winning or losing doesn't mean much at all. But to us, COH is not the same. It's the essence of strategy, the very prime of it's kind, and it takes time to build. Losing it, is not something that should be taken lightly. And the very fact that we traveled all the way from subang, just to play a halfway game, is just not fun at all.

Well, not until much later that i know the server isn't hosted locally right at their own building. I still couldn't understand why they had to host it somewhere else, whereas this kind of lan setup can just be hosted inhouse. So yes, it crashed to a gibberish word on screen, and the staff say this might take some time to reboot. Everyone including us left. And we couldn't think of what to do, so we headed back to the first cc, and played SC, the new SC. It was quite fun, and we had better experience than the one next door. I would probably think twice if i had to play there again.
