Chinese medicine (Herbs)
What a sight to see. Check out these medicine that was prepared for me. So what happened was I wasn't feeling well at all. I tried many things, did many things, and seen many doctors. I had a stomach discomfort at one point of a time. It was just such unfortunate turn of events. I at many things and had not a solid stool coming out. Ok ya, this part is just grossing you out. Well for many years, i wasn't in a very good health, and coupled with my eating habbit, i turned out to be quite the skinny.
So then i decided to see a doctor and ask why, what's wrong with me, what can i do about it. The doctor, being slightly baled headed, told me he don't know until he has done a series of test. I have known beforehand that a doctor can't identify what's wrong until they have experimented with the patients body many times in many ways. And so that's what he did to me.
Firstly, we'd take a sample of urine, and later on a slight dung, and gotta wait before the lab shows a report. Well, the dung part isn't particularly nice to be experimented on. It's just way too weird, and i felt like they violated my human rights. Hah. But what rights do i, a sick patient has right. What they did was inject some kind of solution in my you know where and i immediately felt i need to go toilet. Well before that, the doctor told me, i need to take some sample of ehem, and i told him, I don't have the sample left. He just said, oh don't worry, it will come out. And dang right he was, it came out. Whatever that's left inside just came out. Like whoah.
Not long after, or quite long, the sickness still can't be discovered, so he suggested that i skip certain type of food to see if it was intolerance. Turns out, it was, or what the doctor said to be lactose intolerant. But before the doctor diagnose me with that, my friends brought me to see a Chinese doctor. As with Chinese doctors, just like you see in the movies, they used finger to check my pulse. I was skeptical even till today, the doctor say i am having weak pulse node. So he began writing a bunch of characters that seem like greek to me. I used to know chinese, but not now, long story reserved for another time.
So then i took the paper, which i was supposed to go to the counter and ask for prescription, but instead they took me out of the clinic and went to the Yu Yan Sang next door and showed it to them. LOL. I didn't pay for the doctor's advice because they say they know the doctor very well because of the history with their mom. It was a very tragic thing that happened.
The staff at the herbal shop began to take out the papers, and all the ingredient. And i was in shock, i mean, look at those. And it wasn't just one pack, i'd take all those pack. The amount of herbs the chinese took from the nature never seize to amaze me. I mean c'mon, chinese eat everything that doesn't kill them. And whatever doesn't kill, is edible. For the case of the herbs, not all is edible, and it will be unpleasant to eat it. After packing it, they say this herbs must be boiled at the prescribed way. Failure to do so, leads to disaster.
Turns out, it did turn out to be quite disastrous. The moment i ate it, all my stomach wind went boooot. Hah. And i felt weird after. Later on it came time to pay the western doctor a visit, and since i had all along this other symptom where my hand will turn blue, told the doctor about it, and he was shocked. For the love of, this doctor has always shown a cold side and couldn't care less about what i said to him. To him it's all just BS because he's old and seen plenty of patients that had the same problem. He immediately asked me what i took, and i told him, chinese meds, and he scolded me telling me not to simply take stuffs. It's like the battle between the east and the west, where both of them will just disagree with whatever the other party does things. He said my hemoglobin might have been affected, some weird bull crap. And scheduled an immediate blood test and whatnot. I was like, did i make a mistake or something? Who was right, and who was wrong? I will never know till this day.
